What we collect
When you browse the site, Cloudflare may process basic request and security data to deliver and protect the service. If you allow optional analytics, Google Analytics and our first-party event log record page activity and actions such as salon searches, profile views, booking-link clicks, profile claims, and coverage requests. These event records are not intended to contain sensitive personal information.
Salon submissions
When you claim a profile, suggest a correction, submit a review, or schedule coverage, we collect the information you provide. This can include your name, role, email, phone number, salon address, website, preferred visit timing, and notes. We use it to verify the request, contact you, coordinate coverage, moderate submissions, and maintain the salon profile.
Analytics choices
Google Analytics is optional and advertising storage remains disabled. Your choice is stored in your browser so we can remember it. You may reopen the choice panel at any time.
Daily Brief email
If you subscribe to the Daily Brief, we store your email address, chosen edition, consent source, subscription status, and subscription dates in Airtable. Resend processes the address to deliver each edition. We use this information only to operate the newsletter, do not sell the list, and include an unsubscribe link in every edition.
Sharing and retention
We use Cloudflare to host and protect the site, Google for optional analytics and Maps-based salon information, Airtable for private editorial, subscriber, and operations queues, and Resend for Daily Brief delivery. We do not sell salon submission or subscriber information. We retain operational submissions while they are needed to review, publish, document, or resolve the request, and retain unsubscribed records to honor suppression requests.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete information you submitted, subject to records we must retain for security, legal, or editorial integrity. Published business information may also come from official business sources or Google Maps.
